Weekend 4
Weather: Saturday and Sunday AM - Clear skies, PM - slightly rainy
Friday night (or whenever characters fall asleep come Saturday morning), everyone on the island will be met with a mysterious dream. It’s a dream that some may find unsettling whereas others may see it as a relief -- overall though, the dream is extremely bizarre.
Everyone on the island will dream about their own worlds as they were just before they touched that mysterious floating ticket. The people, the environment -- all is still, unmoving and untouched. Everything is just as you remembered it before you arrived here, and if you choose to walk amongst the people and the places you knew...no one will move. Nothing will react.
Except one thing, and that’s a shooting star that catches your eye from up above. It makes its way across the sky, even if it’s daylight in your dream, and as soon as it fades from your vision...you wake up.
How odd.
The rest of Saturday proceeds as normal, though one will notice that on the opposite side of the island (to the southwest of the map) is a blocked off area, near the peach trees that have been planted. There’s a sign from Nook Inc on the property that reads, Reserved for Able Sisters. Interesting...wonder what’s in store for you there?
--
Sunday rolls around with something a little more pleasant. There’s a bridge on the lower part of the island that you can use to get across to the other side of the island. On the other side is a quaint little building called “ABLE SISTERS”. In the display window is a green dress and a pair of white mary janes; from the outside you can hear the distinct sound of a sewing machine at work.
When you walk in, Mabel is there to greet you, bright and peppy as always. There are various different outfits out for display, but if you ask Mabel, their selection is limitless. The way the process works, she explains, is that you can look through the catalogs of clothing available (minus seasonal items), sorted by item type, and place in an order for any of the items. The clothing will arrive in your mailbox the following day.
There is also a dressing room for you to try on any clothes that are currently on display. (For OOC purposes, if there is an item you really want, feel free to assume it's on display at any given time.)
Other than Mabel, however, is Sable, busy at work in the back and doesn’t even look up from her work. And in the lower left hand corner is...someone who isn’t a hedgehog.
Rather...you’ve got yourselves a cat on your hands. He's busy at work, but you might happen to catch him looking at you as you explore the shop.

[ When Dokja wakes up, it's with a start. It isn't the first time he's had a dream here, but for the past few weeks he's been pretty fortunate to fall into a dreamless sleep every time. This time it's different. The dream is still fresh on his mind, and on one hand someone should feel comforted by the fact that it seemed frozen. At least, it should be a good thing. After all, one could justify that once they return back it meant things would continue as is.
Instead, Dokja finds himself trembling, chest tight and the almost suffocating sensation filling him like someone sinking into deep waters. Breathe, he tries to remind himself. Trying to ignore the feeling of being smothered, a hand blindly reaching out until he finds the figure next to him and finds arms wind around as a source of anchoring himself in place. His face buries into that back, ears straining forward as though searching for the sound of someone else breathing other than his panicked own while he tries to find his voice. ]
later on the day, open.
[ Well, the dark circles under his eyes aren't anything new, but he definitely looks more tired than normal. However, he seems to be looking around and seeing who he can find, whatever it is they're doing. The way he fleets from one person to the next is a little strange but he won't mind sparing some time for any conversations.
Otherwise, he's inspecting the new plot with curiosity and asks anyone nearby with a friendly smile. ] Any idea what's going to be built here?
[ He has some idea given the recent visitors they've had but, he's happy to let some wild guesses come in. ]

It's only when he feels a familiar hold on him does he stir. His eyes flutter open as he looks behind him to see Dokja clinging onto him rather desperately. A frown plasters over his lips as he carefully turns over and tries not to disturb his companion. Did he have a nightmare? A bad dream? Joonghyuk's ears pin back as he wraps an arm around Dokja and rubs his back. There, there. Calm down. ]

Miles hadn't known what to make of it upon waking. He'd dreamed of home before, but never like that. It was a little bit disturbing.
He's walking around the island, seeming lost in his thoughts. You might be able to get him to say things that he might not normally say if you catch him like this!]

[Someday even this shadow would vanish, claimed by the waters and the expiration of the magics which rebuilt its shade. Yet here she was, walking the deathly quiet streets in search of...what? Who was it she was hoping to find? Y'shtola and the others? Hythlodaeus? Ardbert? Or-]
[A single streak of flame crossed the sky, and with it her heart stopped as cold as the rest of the city and the shades frozen within it.]
[Welcome, rang a distant and cold voice in her memory, to the Final Days of Amaurot.]
[Scintilla awoke in a cold sweat, staring wide-eyed at the ceiling. Barely sunrise, judging by the light streaking through the window. Probably early enough to sneak out without the roommates knowing; an easy enough task for a ninja, surely.]
[She'd spend most of the day in various fruit trees, easy enough to find by the clockwork doll occasionally wandering in circles at the base of whatever perch she'd chosen to sit in, slicing up an apple with hands a bit less steady than normal.]
[Come nightfall, she'd take to sitting on the roof of her house, clockwork Aymeric beside her while she stared intently at the sky as if daring it to do anything.]

[It's early in the morning, and Adelaide has invited the professor over for tea and baking. She doesn't know her very well yet, but what's a better way to get to know someone then to bake alongside them? She's in a good mood, the strange dream from Friday night an already distant memory. If you don't worry about it, things are fine.
There's more sugar than necessary spread out on the kitchen counter, plus everything you could need to make basically anything you wanted. Also, lots of apples.]
So, do you bake a lot?
[As she sets out some tea for the two of them...]
open;
[Baking was a success, and Adelaide has more food to give out to people. Hooray! Anyone is welcome to stop by House 1, which continues smelling like baking foods throughout most of the day. Even after Byleth leaves, Adelaide keeps going. The smell of caramelized sugar is the most prominent after the professor leaves, except for a brief period of time where Adelaide goes to investigate the Abel Sister's.
She makes a beeline for the catalogs, flipping through them and...]
I was not expecting this many options at all.
[So many clothes! So many colors! So many things that are honestly just kind of weird for a clothes store to be selling!]
What do you think I should get?
