Weekend 4
Weather: Saturday and Sunday AM - Clear skies, PM - slightly rainy
Friday night (or whenever characters fall asleep come Saturday morning), everyone on the island will be met with a mysterious dream. It’s a dream that some may find unsettling whereas others may see it as a relief -- overall though, the dream is extremely bizarre.
Everyone on the island will dream about their own worlds as they were just before they touched that mysterious floating ticket. The people, the environment -- all is still, unmoving and untouched. Everything is just as you remembered it before you arrived here, and if you choose to walk amongst the people and the places you knew...no one will move. Nothing will react.
Except one thing, and that’s a shooting star that catches your eye from up above. It makes its way across the sky, even if it’s daylight in your dream, and as soon as it fades from your vision...you wake up.
How odd.
The rest of Saturday proceeds as normal, though one will notice that on the opposite side of the island (to the southwest of the map) is a blocked off area, near the peach trees that have been planted. There’s a sign from Nook Inc on the property that reads, Reserved for Able Sisters. Interesting...wonder what’s in store for you there?

Sunday rolls around with something a little more pleasant. There’s a bridge on the lower part of the island that you can use to get across to the other side of the island. On the other side is a quaint little building called “ABLE SISTERS”. In the display window is a green dress and a pair of white mary janes; from the outside you can hear the distinct sound of a sewing machine at work.
When you walk in, Mabel is there to greet you, bright and peppy as always. There are various different outfits out for display, but if you ask Mabel, their selection is limitless. The way the process works, she explains, is that you can look through the catalogs of clothing available (minus seasonal items), sorted by item type, and place in an order for any of the items. The clothing will arrive in your mailbox the following day.
There is also a dressing room for you to try on any clothes that are currently on display. (For OOC purposes, if there is an item you really want, feel free to assume it's on display at any given time.)
Other than Mabel, however, is Sable, busy at work in the back and doesn’t even look up from her work. And in the lower left hand corner is...someone who isn’t a hedgehog.
Rather...you’ve got yourselves a cat on your hands. He's busy at work, but you might happen to catch him looking at you as you explore the shop.

Closing his eyes, he tries to catch some more seconds of rest as dawn slowly approaches. There isn't too much to look forward to today, so sleeping in might be acceptable. Just today. ]
Yes. I was able to walk through it, but nothing moved forward. [ That's a little grim, but he explains it as it is. ] The world must be waiting for us to return.
[ Because at his time, Dokja has already assumed his position... So this must be the only explanation, he thinks. Time in their world works differently—the past, the present, and the future all exist at the same time. ]
But in the end, it could be just a dream.

If it is then I guess that's a good thing.. [ It must mean that things continue as they are once they eventually do go back. But, it's at least a sign probably meant to comfort, something that almost makes Dokja laugh. How is that suppose to reassure them? It has the opposite feeling. ]
Could be, but given our powers are suppressed and the way this world works in different ways.. we shouldn't completely disregard it. [ His gaze grows half-lidded, not really looking at anything until he looks back to his companion. He doesn't say anything else, merely watching him with a quiet brush of his tail as it sweeps over the mattress. He looks like he wants to say something but no other words leave him. ]

As Dokja says, it could be an omen. His tail lightly thumps the bed as he considers it, too. ]
... We have a lot of work to do when we return home. [ The stroking stops and he merely wraps his arm back around his companion. ] So you should catch some rest while you can.
[ But he can see the outline of Dokja's expression. He knows what that look is. ]
What do you want to say?

Or, maybe.. Dokja is just reassured that he woke up and found Joonghyuk still here. Even if Joonghyuk had left he would have found some way to cope until he eventually returned as well but.. He's distracted by the thoughts that he doesn't catch what the other man says. Not until he feels that arm back around him and his own hands twitch around that firm back. ]
Oh. ..It's nothing, really. [ The look overcomes him is sheepish. He debates not saying anything else, however that thought from before comes back. ] ..I was relieved that you were still here.
[ Despite everything, how they should try to get back home as soon as possible, his first thought really was 'Thank god he's still here.' There's that coil of guilt, fingers trailing along the length of that back before he squeezes briefly. It's terrible, isn't it? Of course he misses everyone else, and he awaits the day he can be with everyone and spend everyday with them but he still.. ]

[ Those words make him sad, considering he knows when he returns home... Dokja will still be here, then Dokja in his world would also be in a similar predicament. He would be trapped somewhere, most likely alone. His expression twists in the darkness, but fortunately the same darkness hides most of his sorrow. Instinctively, he pulls him even closer because he also harbors the fear of losing the man beside him again. Haven't they suffered enough? ]
As long as you recall our story, a piece of us is with you.
[ If only Joonghyuk knew that slowly as time passes by, Dokja would lose those same stories. However, he doesn't know that. He lives in that bliss that Dokja will at least remember them and those memories will keep him company as he waits.
Quietly, he buries his nose into the crown of Dokja's head. Quietly, he repeats in his head that they'll come for him... They'll save him. ]

It's one of my favorite stories.
[ How could he ever forget? He wants to say, but he doesn't. Of course, equally unaware of what his future would bring- what he would keep, what he would lose. Instead, he reassures with the confidence of his love for said story. His tail sways languidly now with a feather-light nuzzle into that warmth. ]
Let's sleep in today? [ Normally Dokja lazes a bit in bed once they get up for the morning, Joonghyuk especially on a schedule but. It should be fine if it's only once, right? Already wanting to put thoughts of those dreams behind him. Ears flicker forward, careful of the weight atop his head as he waits for an answer. ]

He's still worried, but Dokja seems to be doing better. A small grumble rumbles in his throat as he settles to sleep again.]
Fine. [ Really, how could he say no? Dokja barely got to sleep in before without his life being threatened. ] Don't complain when you say you don't have enough time in the day to finish your tasks.
[ He pulls the sheets over them to make sure they're back to being cozy. ]

It's fine, I didn't have much planned today anyways. Besides I should be telling you not to complain? [ You're sleeping in too, right? So it works out for him. Legs tangle with the other's as he feels the sheets drape over, a memory coming to mind how he cuddled up to Joonghyuk sometime before to get on his nerves and earned the other man's annoyance- talking about how clingy he was.
Now, they've settled into a state where he more often than not finds himself lulled to sleep by the reassuring hold of their arms around one another. Though very aware of how hard his heart pounded in his chest as he slowly eased into that comfort. Of course Dokja knows if he so much as gave word of how snugly Yoo Joonghyuk is he would most definitely die. Scratch that, there would guaranteed be a murder on the island. ]
