Weather: Saturday and Sunday AM - Clear skies, PM - slightly rainy

Friday night (or whenever characters fall asleep come Saturday morning), everyone on the island will be met with a mysterious dream. It’s a dream that some may find unsettling whereas others may see it as a relief -- overall though, the dream is extremely bizarre.

Everyone on the island will dream about their own worlds as they were just before they touched that mysterious floating ticket. The people, the environment -- all is still, unmoving and untouched. Everything is just as you remembered it before you arrived here, and if you choose to walk amongst the people and the places you knew...no one will move. Nothing will react.

Except one thing, and that’s a shooting star that catches your eye from up above. It makes its way across the sky, even if it’s daylight in your dream, and as soon as it fades from your vision...you wake up.

How odd.

The rest of Saturday proceeds as normal, though one will notice that on the opposite side of the island (to the southwest of the map) is a blocked off area, near the peach trees that have been planted. There’s a sign from Nook Inc on the property that reads, Reserved for Able Sisters. Interesting...wonder what’s in store for you there?

Sunday rolls around with something a little more pleasant. There’s a bridge on the lower part of the island that you can use to get across to the other side of the island. On the other side is a quaint little building called “ABLE SISTERS”. In the display window is a green dress and a pair of white mary janes; from the outside you can hear the distinct sound of a sewing machine at work.

When you walk in, Mabel is there to greet you, bright and peppy as always. There are various different outfits out for display, but if you ask Mabel, their selection is limitless. The way the process works, she explains, is that you can look through the catalogs of clothing available (minus seasonal items), sorted by item type, and place in an order for any of the items. The clothing will arrive in your mailbox the following day.

There is also a dressing room for you to try on any clothes that are currently on display. (For OOC purposes, if there is an item you really want, feel free to assume it's on display at any given time.)

Other than Mabel, however, is Sable, busy at work in the back and doesn’t even look up from her work. And in the lower left hand corner is...someone who isn’t a hedgehog.

Rather...you’ve got yourselves a cat on your hands. He's busy at work, but you might happen to catch him looking at you as you explore the shop.

[ Joonghyuk arches his eyebrows, surprised that Laurent doesn't have a quip here or there.

Carefully, he nudges Laurent's side with his foot. ]

[ Maybe it's because he needs a new tongue after burning it off.

Laurent doesn't budge with Joonghyuk's foot. Instead, he just stays like that. ]

That was done on purpose.

[ The towel is still over his face. ]

[ Good to know Laurent isn't dead, so he stops nudging him. ]

It was.

[ He isn't going to hide it. ]

Your grudges run deep, sir punk.

[ Laurent still has absolutely no regrets in signing him up for the fashion show. ]

Then you know what you did wrong.

[ When will you learn your actions have consequences, Laurent? ]

[ Laurent always knows his actions have consequences. It's just a matter of actively caring about them. ]

Did you hate it that much?

You didn't consult me.

[ But yes, he didn't like it. However, it would have been better if Laurent told him. ]

You wouldn't have agreed, and the outfit looked really good on you.

[ That's his stupid justification, even though Laurent knows it's not a good one. ]

[ He’s partially annoyed, but he tilts his head. Slowly, he’s coming to a conclusion— ]

... Are you interested in men?

[ Laurent lowers the cold towel so that it only covers his burning mouth rather than his entire face. ]

What do you think?

I must reject you.

[ That’s it. He can’t accept your nonexistent advances, Laurent!!!! He’s taken! And not interested in you in the first place! ]

[ Laurent stares at Joonghyuk for a second before bursting out in laughter as if that was the funniest thing he's ever heard. ]

Did you think I was going after you??

[ His frown deepens. ]

You pay me too much attention.

[ Why is it funny?! That he misunderstood?!?! ]

What's wrong with paying attention to people I like?

[ Before Joonghyuk misunderstands any further-- ]

People can appreciate how good others look despite their sexuality and I'm not one for polyamory, but I do have a girlfriend.

[ Does that ease your heart, Joonghyuk? ]

[ A girlfriend... How does he say this— ]

It must be a recent development considering you didn’t act taken.

[ "Didn't act taken"--Laurent wonders what consists of that in Joonghyuk's head. Maybe it was the way he threw out the kissing option like it didn't matter just to bait him? He gets out a medicine from his pocket, uses it, and he looks back to normal. The lingering spicy aftertaste is finally gone, so he could use it.

Laurent smiles at Joonghyuk after lowering the towel. ]

I like you, Yoo Joonghyuk, but not in the way you initially thought. Just like from me to Kim Dokja.

[ As a friend, even if it's one-sided. He doesn't care. ]

Besides, I can't really let go of my pasttime to tease you every now and then.

[ It's good that Laurent confesses then takes it back immediately. Joonghyuk's eyebrows furrow a bit as he listens. Teasing him... Why? Why do people do this? ]

... You should use that time for your new girlfriend.

Why not both?

[ In fact, he's gonna do both. ]

I like spending time with you too, after all.

... Did you two decide to stay on this island?

[ It's something he wondered instantly when Laurent said he has a girlfriend now. ]

[ This is normally something Laurent would leave up in the air for Joonghyuk to guess about, but since his future plans do tie with his for now, he thinks he deserves to know--which, unfortunately, isn't much better of an answer. ]

We haven't decided, though I do plan to talk about it with her eventually.

[ Now that he no longer needs the towel, he'll toss that back to Joonghyuk while finally getting up from squatting. His legs feel sore already... ]

[ It's a surprise that Laurent answers him somewhat seriously. It's a nonanswer, but a valid one all the same. ]

... No one would curse you for running.

Really? I can think of several right off the bat, but I've never cared for what they thought of me.

[ ... ]

Besides, even if I don't go, the world will die from my absence alone.

[ As Laurent already confirmed, opinions you don't care for don't matter. People who think of your best interest, however, would understand. It's not something he intends to explain. ]

Shouldn't a world like that burn?

Unfortunately, that world has people I rather like.

[ Like... his family and friends. ]

So it's a rather conflicted feeling, you see.

... What I see is that in your heart you've made your decision.

[ Whether Laurent knows or not, Joonghyuk understands the heart wants what it wants. ]
