Weather: Saturday and Sunday AM - Clear skies, PM - slightly rainy

Friday night (or whenever characters fall asleep come Saturday morning), everyone on the island will be met with a mysterious dream. It’s a dream that some may find unsettling whereas others may see it as a relief -- overall though, the dream is extremely bizarre.

Everyone on the island will dream about their own worlds as they were just before they touched that mysterious floating ticket. The people, the environment -- all is still, unmoving and untouched. Everything is just as you remembered it before you arrived here, and if you choose to walk amongst the people and the places you knew...no one will move. Nothing will react.

Except one thing, and that’s a shooting star that catches your eye from up above. It makes its way across the sky, even if it’s daylight in your dream, and as soon as it fades from your vision...you wake up.

How odd.

The rest of Saturday proceeds as normal, though one will notice that on the opposite side of the island (to the southwest of the map) is a blocked off area, near the peach trees that have been planted. There’s a sign from Nook Inc on the property that reads, Reserved for Able Sisters. Interesting...wonder what’s in store for you there?

Sunday rolls around with something a little more pleasant. There’s a bridge on the lower part of the island that you can use to get across to the other side of the island. On the other side is a quaint little building called “ABLE SISTERS”. In the display window is a green dress and a pair of white mary janes; from the outside you can hear the distinct sound of a sewing machine at work.

When you walk in, Mabel is there to greet you, bright and peppy as always. There are various different outfits out for display, but if you ask Mabel, their selection is limitless. The way the process works, she explains, is that you can look through the catalogs of clothing available (minus seasonal items), sorted by item type, and place in an order for any of the items. The clothing will arrive in your mailbox the following day.

There is also a dressing room for you to try on any clothes that are currently on display. (For OOC purposes, if there is an item you really want, feel free to assume it's on display at any given time.)

Other than Mabel, however, is Sable, busy at work in the back and doesn’t even look up from her work. And in the lower left hand corner is...someone who isn’t a hedgehog.

Rather...you’ve got yourselves a cat on your hands. He's busy at work, but you might happen to catch him looking at you as you explore the shop.

[ It's something he wondered instantly when Laurent said he has a girlfriend now. ]

[ This is normally something Laurent would leave up in the air for Joonghyuk to guess about, but since his future plans do tie with his for now, he thinks he deserves to know--which, unfortunately, isn't much better of an answer. ]

We haven't decided, though I do plan to talk about it with her eventually.

[ Now that he no longer needs the towel, he'll toss that back to Joonghyuk while finally getting up from squatting. His legs feel sore already... ]

[ It's a surprise that Laurent answers him somewhat seriously. It's a nonanswer, but a valid one all the same. ]

... No one would curse you for running.

Really? I can think of several right off the bat, but I've never cared for what they thought of me.

Besides, even if I don't go, the world will die from my absence alone.

[ As Laurent already confirmed, opinions you don't care for don't matter. People who think of your best interest, however, would understand. It's not something he intends to explain. ]

Shouldn't a world like that burn?

Unfortunately, that world has people I rather like.

[ Like... his family and friends. ]

So it's a rather conflicted feeling, you see.

... What I see is that in your heart you've made your decision.

[ Whether Laurent knows or not, Joonghyuk understands the heart wants what it wants. ]

[ Sure enough, the heart wants what it wants, but Laurent wonders what Joonghyuk means by that. From the way he says that, it's as if he knows the result already--yet he still says he'll still save him. Laurent knows that he can't stay on the island for the saving to even happen, because he needs to be there when it happens. Being absent from that sort of scenario will turn everything for naught, saved or not.

The rain continues to fall, going pitter patter on top of his vinyl umbrella. It's the only sound that permeates the silence between the two.

Laurent smiles.

Honestly... this should have been easy. ]

You're so good to me that sometimes I wonder how you really feel about me.

[ Oh, the pitter patter. Joonghyuk pulls out one of his umbrellas to use. His expression twists a bit confused. ]

... What do you mean? I'm only speaking the truth.

[ It's nothing more, nothing less... he wouldn't say he has been good to Laurent during their stay here. ]

It's a blessing to be so straightforward.

[ More teasing, but that's bound to happen anyway. ]
