Week 5
Weather: All Week - Clear Skies...?
- A New Week
Another Monday is here, and that means another round of weekly announcements. You haven’t had any strange dreams since that odd one on Friday evening, but some of you can’t help but feel something…familiar stirring up inside of you. Some kind of energy, some kind of power…
But before you can think too much on it, your train of thought is interrupted by Tom Nook’s voice booming over the speakers again, as per usual.
“Good morning, everyone! Happy fifth week on the island, yes, yes! I have a very special announcement for you today, and that’s that the museum will be open starting on Wednesday! We are currently detailing where to lay out the plot, and you will see another construction area tomorrow. We’ll most likely have it near Able Sisters for ease of convenience. I’m very pleased with our two new establishments!”
He claps delightedly to himself. Tom Nook seems very pleased with how the island is coming along so far!
“Next, please give a warm welcome to our new neighbor, Raymond! Raymond is working as the Able Sisters’ accountant, though he is a little confused about the number of clocks in his house… Ah, but I digress. I’m very happy that we’ve filled up all three of our villager plots!”
Snake, Audie, and Raymond...what an interesting trio. One who enjoys working on his muscles, one who loves fashion, and one who crunches numbers.
“And finally,” Tom Nook continues, “while I don’t have much for you all this week, I am curious about something. I’d like to know how the Meteor Shower went for all of you! It was your first one, no? I hope your wishes will come true!”
Little does he know...some of them already have. Perhaps they will continue to, too, throughout the week.

After the morning announcements, you may notice that there has been a new posting on the bulletin board. Upon closer inspection, the new posting is from no one other than Snake himself!
His posting is as follows:
- Hey hey! I’m CRAZY excited about living here on Isle Sonrisa, where the biggest attractions are my biceps! I wanna build up my muscles even more, so can you help me with something?
I want as many barbells as I can get! Yep, no limit, just give me everything you’ve got! You know where to find me, and I’ll give anyone who gives me a barbell a special surprise! Thanks!
P.S. If anyone wants to arm wrestle sometime, give me a ring! I’ll be right there in a jiffy!

[ It is... shopping day. Well, more like they're running a bit low on groceries, which is fair considering Joonghyuk makes three meals a day for the both of them. It's nice to switch things up after how their first week was... yeah, he hasn't touched apples since.
For now he waits outside their house, looking in the direction of the grocery store. If he remembers right.. Already he's fiddling with the NookPhone, opening to look at the map app and squint in the direction from what he remembers the Ables Sisters' shop is in. He looked at it the day the plot was decided on but hasn't visited since. It'll be nice to pick out clothes for a change instead of sticking to whatever they manage to get in the mail..
Ears perk up as the door closes behind him, tail suddenly raised up before it sways with recognition of his companion. ] Good to go?

Hello, everyone!
After giving it some thought, I have a proposition after a dream I myself I had. I dreamed, much like you all... and my dream was of those who elect to stay here surrounded by inhabitants of this world! I have spoken to Dokja and Kaede about this already, but I thought, in order to attract more people to the island, perhaps we could put on some sort of event. Now, I have a few ideas of my own, but I truly believe that anything I think of could pale in comparison to what you all could think of.
That being said, I do have an idea... and that is that we find a way to make KK Slider, a popular musician here, interested in coming! If KK Slider were to visit, well... I believe that would make living here very very attractive. This is your home for the time being, so I'd love to see what sorts of ideas you all come up with.

Having not done a whole lot of DIY, he's lacking in the proper tools to actually find iron nuggets. But that's clearly not going to stop him, as he simply elects to punch a rock with his bare fists. It's fine.
Somehow he manages to scrape together enough iron, because he can be spotted later carrying a completed barbell to Snake's house, and he's beaming with pride!]

In the next moment, an arrow fwip!s through the air and embeds itself in the last scarecrow's face, right under the brim of that safety helmet. It subsequently bursts into flames.
Across from the burning scarecrow, twenty feet in the air with six beating wings working to maintain altitude, Minato unhurriedly takes another arrow and sets it against the bow in his hands. A flick of his thumb on a lighter sets the arrowhead on fire, his arm draws the arrow back, and fwip! The sheep scarecrow's head tears halfway off its neck with the impact, and catches on fire.

Once she's done there, though, it's time to go back to House 9, where everything under "Can Trade" is set up on the front lawn. She's written "Yard sard" in the path with a stick. Of all the things to learn from Tom Nook, memes had to be one of them.
Or you can catch her later, checking out the new theatre. Everything looks amazing! She'll flit around the place, inspecting it all and sitting in all the chairs.
At night, Serval is sitting in a tree as usual, but you'll see her by the light of her phone and hear a distinct text-to-speech voice reading aloud.]
When the sun rises, it's time to start the day...
I guess so! Everyone's up in the day here, after all. [yawn] But staying up all day is kind of tiring sometimes.

Hey there, darling! Did you see Tommy-dear's text? He wants to put on an event. I wonder if we could incorporate the performance theater's grand opening into it in some way? The timing is so perfect, don't you think?
[In the evening, after all of his work putting the outfits away at the theater is done, Sylvando spends some time in his little garden near house 10. He didn't let those veggie seeds that he discovered last week sit for very long. He made a cute little plot to start growing them in. He seems to be struggling a bit today, though. He's been making do with his flimsy watering can, but once again he finds it springing a pesky leak. Not much longer and it'll fall apart on him.
He holds it up and lets out a dramatic sigh.]
Ugh. Again? Maybe someone has a recipe for a better watering can...

Thursday is a day where Laurent just stays home, even though he's usually out and about, doing all sorts of things whether it be chopping trees to hoard wood, taking a stroll and whatnot. He's not seen anywhere outside today.
