Weather: Clear skies all weekend

On Saturday, there’s nothing new or unusual. It seems like the wish granting has been put on hold, and your efforts can continue to go towards progressing the island more. With the museum, Able Sisters, the entertainment area, the garden and more, the amount of development Isle Sonrisa has gone through is crystal clear when you compare it to your first week here.

All seems to be normal. That is, until you decide to fall asleep.

Whenever you begin to dream, your dreams are very vivid and reminiscent of the time you all dreamt about your homes. This time, however, you see your fellow islanders around you. Everyone may look confused, trying to figure out where they are. And that’s entirely fair, because where you are now is a little different from the island you’re used to.

That power you felt earlier in the week feels strong, too. It feels natural. And when you channel your energy…

Those of you who had powers originally will feel them start to manifest. Every ability you had is coming back. They seem a little...dampened, though, like they aren’t the full extent of what you could do before. Those who did not have abilities before will start to feel in tune with whatever’s on their person, whether it be a shovel, a bug net, even a stack of apples… You’ll be able to use them in ways you couldn’t have before.

And maybe you’ll learn how to use that new ability soon, because someone is waiting on top of one of the ledges, staring down at all of you. And he is staring very, very intensely at you. A moment passes, and then he hops down...and swings his net at the nearest person.

Strangely, if the target is you, it doesn’t hurt. You feel the boink land, but it doesn’t hurt at all. Should you choose to retaliate, no matter what you do, the boy does not seem to be in pain either. Now’s the time to experiment with your newfound (or returning) abilities. Mess around with the environment, or go ham on one another! The strangest thing is that you will feel your energy draining the more you use your powers -- which is to be expected -- but the pain never really settles in.

Furthermore, there are no injuries or blood. In fact, every punch, every kick, every impact looks cartoonish!

The last notable thing is for Joonghyuk. If he looks up at the sky at any given moment, he’ll specifically see a shooting star fly across the sky. The wish to have strength is going a little haywire, but it’s certainly something, isn’t it?

As for Sunday, well… It’s worth mentioning that those abilities aren’t just a dream after all. In fact, you feel as though you can use them in real life, too, with the same effect -- the environment can be altered (for instance: super strength means you might be able to lift a tree with your bare hands, with some work) but there are no injuries or pain when you use them on others! … But the strange boy from that dream is nowhere to be found. Huh. Wonder what that was about...

[ It's this dream again... Quiet, warm, waning sunlight streaming through the windows of a dormitory lounge. Half a dozen people sit around the main living area on the couches, laughing and chattering away, but Minato sits out of the way and off to the side, in the shadows of the stairwell leading upstairs. There's a white shiba inu snoozing away on his lap, but that's about the extent of the interaction he allows himself in these dreams, neither approaching the rest of the group nor any new person he is surprised to see in his dream.

Lifting a finger to his lips, he requests silence, waving you over to sit next to him on the stairs. ]

[Byleth wanders over and silently takes a seat. She smiles softly at the sight.]

[ Laurent finds himself here, and it's not really something he expected. He's familiar with dormitories and their lounges, but they weren't the things he expected to see.

When he sees Minato's gestures, he keeps his mouth closed and goes to sit next to him on the stairs. But after he does so, he looks over at the people on the couches, and thinks to himself whether Minato feels like he doesn't belong with them.

He reaches out to pet the dog on Minato's lap. ]

[ Kaede is surprised to be here and not somewhere back in her own world, like the other dreams she's had. It takes her a moment to see Minato on the stairway, as she watches the people chatting on the couches at first. She immediately walks towards him, wondering if this is his world and if those are his friends.

His gesture keeps her from asking those questions, though, and she just smiles in return as she sits next to him. ]

[During the day, Serval is in the theatre practising. Practising what? Well, she's... hitting a frying pan with a stick, and occasionally ringing a gong. Is this music? Maybe.

If you don't want to hurt your ears, you can also find her at the pool, though she isn't going in the water. Instead, she's crouched by the edge, batting around some of the tennis balls that are floating at the side of the pool. Someone is easily amused.

But during the Smash dream, she seems a little confused, and doesn't attack until the Villager hits her... at which point she just blinks.]

Huh? It's a game? Okay!

[And she slashes with her claws in return, then jumps twice her height onto one of the floating platforms with a giggle.]

[ when serval jumps up and jumps onto one of the platforms, she'll happen to jump right in front of hitsugaya. a very, very cold breeze passes on by and he looks at her with a defensive stace.

but upon realizing who it is, he relaxes, huffing a little. ]

[ Laurent remembers Serval telling him that she could do a lot more, but seeing it in action is pretty cool. But... what the heck is that boy with a net?? He looks over at her on the higher platform while watching the Villager do his thing. ]

Are we... on a floating island?

[ And why are they there?! ]

[Scintilla was fully prepared to start cursing out yet another weird dream, but this one was...notably less ominous. Less ominous, except for ducking the net suddenly swung at her head.]

What the hell--

[On instinct she brought her hands together into some kind of sign--then immediately vanished in a puff of smoke and reappeared in another, standing on one of the floating platforms. She paused at the realization of having moved, blinked green eyes a few times, and looked around.]

...Did that just work?

It seems like it did.

[Byleth's sitting on a platform, legs hanging off the edge. She waves to Scintilla.]

What was that?

[There's something different about this dream. It isn't just that he's seeing others from the island instead of his friends back home. It isn't just that they're on a weird version of the island with platforms. It's how he looks and feels.

Ren wriggles his fingers and clenches his fist, feeling the leather glove creak satisfyingly. He stands there in a fashionable gentleman thieves'-esque outfit, looking absolutely pleased. Though he doesn't have his mask, it's of no concern. Ren's missed this get-up. And not only that, he feels stronger, more alert, and there's power thrumming within his veins.

A familiar, low voice chuckling in the back of his head.

Before he can think about it too much, he's being...attacked? The person doesn't seem bad or anything, but heck. It's on. With a laugh, Ren leaps at him. Anyone watching the little battle will be able to see that there definitely is more to this high school student than the mild-mannered boy who mans the coffee/curry shop. He takes to battle as if second nature, a flurry of guns and knives and magic--the latter accompanied by brief apparitions of one classy looking demon-like entity.

(He feels alive.)

Even after the spar, Ren is leaping from platform to platform, flipping and spinning with moves any acrobat could only dream of. He uses various objects in the environment as target practice. Ren seems almost as if a completely different person, the constant smirk on his face exuding a loud confidence not often seen elsewhere for him.]

[ if it weren't for that frizzy hair of his, hitsugaya may have not recognized him as fast as he has. ren's running and doing a bunch of fancy parkour. it's all entirely unnecessary, but hitsugaya also understands that it must be refreshing to have one's abilities back. he can't say he doesn't feel that way, too.

so like ren, he's going to try to have a little...fun with it.

when ren goes for a leap, hitsugaya is going to attempt to shoot some ice at his feet. it's not with the intent to harm him, but to try to freeze him in place. ]

[ All Kaede has on her is a net, and she has no abilities to get back either, so she's more than content to watch everyone enjoy having their abilities back.

She waves at Ren when he looks in her direction. ]

serval's worst nightmare

[ Sadness is not having Personas who can use Armageddon. Maybe that's for the best, though, because in the far back corner of the island where Minato had been practicing archery the week before, instead of the land being blown into smithereens, there is instead a huge fire that wells up and overwhelms the sand and cliff face, pervasive despite not catching on any of the greenery. The air is sweltering, humid, fire roaring and reaching several dozen meters into the air.

At the edge of the inferno, Minato lies on the ground, panting and struggling to get up onto his feet, two beings on either side of him in a slow, ritualistic dance that keeps the flames burning.

Y'all are lucky Minato does not have his Evoker. But also unlucky because he does not need it to summon Persona. ]

[Serval is poking her head out from behind a rock. Very, very far away. She starts waving her arms and flailing.]

Someone help Minato-san! And bring water!

[ Laurent is just here, watching the flames and wow, it's hot here. He doesn't think to extinguish it because maybe Minato looks like he has it under control, but he looks like he's in trouble... or having trouble. Same thing? Maybe. ]

Looks like you don't need the lighter anymore.

[ Who needs flaming arrows when you can raise pillars of hellfire? ]

[ At the start of the day, Dokja can be found sitting around on the swinging bench nearby house two. It isn't too strange at first since he seems to be having a conversation with someone but... nobody is there..? Of course Dokja behaves otherwise, pinching his bridge as if dealing with someone insufferable. ⸢Kim Dok Ja⸥ ] Shouldn't you have an answer?

[ ⸢I do n't alwa ys kn ow every th ing.⸥ ] Or you could be hiding something. [ ⸢Stu pid⸥ The Fourth Wall has finished stabilizing! ]

[ Later on, Dokja can be found in a resting area near part of the river but what stands out is the large black wings...? Of course it's not just that, he also has two curved horns raising out of his head and last anyone checked, he was part fox? Which he still has said ears and tail to go with that statement. He's struggling at the moment because the wings look like a mess. Clumps of feathers are stuck together, and it looks almost like a molting gone wrong.

His hands are trying to reach for places not easily accessible with his hands and makes a frustrated noise. Maybe help him? Or watch him struggle trying to preen?? ]

[ Finally, whatever you happen to be doing, you'll find Kim Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk together, which isn't at all strange. The two have always been seen around with each other frequently, when they aren't doing this daily tasks- though also sometimes doing that too together.

Instead, Yoo Joonghyuk looks his trademark Murderous Intent and anyone close by may be able to tell why. There's an almost unnerving pressure that blankets on those nearby. It's as if a sudden heavy weight has been put upon you, but it doesn't hurt. It feels uncomfortable at most. Maybe forcing you to have some goosebumps and chills. Yoo Joonghyuk obviously is having none of it. ] Kim Dokja.

[ Dokja, meanwhile. ] What? I'm being careful with it.

[Serval waves, running up to Dokja, but...?]

...huh? Dokja-san? You didn't have wings and horns before. Wait, is this like how I can jump higher and stuff again now?

[ Though Laurent might be meaning that in jest. Maybe...? He has a smile, but it doesn't quite reach his eyes as usual. ]

Though I do think even imaginary friends have secrets they can't tell you.

The pressure makes Laurent squint, because he absolutely hates it. When he looks up, he sees Dokja and Joonghyuk talking about... something? Though from what he can hear, it's probably something about this pressure. He looks at the ground. It's so uncomfortable.

So, clearly, the correct answer is to give off slight pressure as a Concept, but he can't do anything more than that, because there aren't particular threats and the fact that he's still in pre-maturation phase. But it makes things a little more bearable. ]

[This may be the most excited anyone has seen Lio since arriving. He knows this feeling, the feeling that he has to burn something or he's going to burst, and he's honestly missed it.

First, a small message:]

I'll be at the northern part of the island most of the day. no one panic when you see the flames.

[Just saying.

But after that, he'll be right where he said he was, at the northern part of the island where there's few people to risk burning. He gets a bit of wood in a pile first, so there's a big pink and blue and green neon bonfire, which gets most of the urge out.

But then he also creates a few Burnish constructs, which is really just his motorcycle and a (villager-sized) dragon that he lets run around and spit fire at rocks and weeds while he has fun.

Damn, he missed this.]

[The dreams here just keep getting stranger and stranger. Seeing the things people are capable of makes Adelaide curious, and that feeling she felt earlier in the week just gets stronger and stronger. It's something familiar, and she just...

She wonders.

She can be found outside of house one, near the river. She has an axe with her, held between her knees as she crouches down. She takes a breath, before dragging her hand along the blade of the axe hard enough to draw blood. It stings, of course, but she's expecting that. She watches as the blood wells up, before holding her hand out over the ground. When the blood hits the ground, it... Sizzles. Black smoke raises from the blood and the wound, and it coalesces into a solid form. For a moment. It shifts, like it's glitching out, and changes, but just for a moment. It seems like the first form is stronger, somehow, but it's still... Weak.

Adelaide grins, and reaches out to pet the creature.]

Hey, it's been a while, hasn't it?

[For the rest of the day, wherever she goes the creature is a shadow. It seems curious, watching people even while it's shape is changing and fluctuating. It seems to be purring, especially when it gets close to anyone fond of Adelaide. It likes that you like her! Maybe? Possibly. Maybe it just likes people.]

[Continual weird dreams aside, Scintilla spent most of the day fishing; she could sell some and eat the rest, and survival was her only real priority in a place like this right now.]

[As the day wore on into evening, she arranged a collection of skewered fish, along the beach--then formed two quick signs with her hands and huffed out a small flame to cook the nearest one. Picking up the skewer and taking a bite of the flame-cooked fish, her tail swayed excitedly. Even without her job stone, it was nice to feel a little more like herself again.]

[Alright, so that was an odd dream. Very odd, and he thinks he had a lot more fun than he expected he would? He sort of feels like he should have been more sad- after all, that stand was...well.

That wasn't his stand, not technically. The sheep sighs, and rolls out of his bed. He's been making a lot of progress on his house he feels. Maybe someone should Visit, give a good knock on the door!

Or maybe he should just go outside. It's nice and clear today, maybe even a bit too bright? He sort of wishes it was a little less brilliant, maybe a bit-]

[There are Clouds in the sky now. Just a few, just gently drifting in front of the sun to dampen the brilliance some, but that seems oddly coincidental doesn't it?

Suffice to say the answer comes later, and while standing on the beach, Something stands across from him. Tall, cloud-white, and...

Actually it's a lot less human and a lot more sheepy. There's a whole bunch of clouds, and cloud wool, and the fellow even has some proper curled horns in addition to the usual get-up of tiny ones.

At least his new hooves still have the right winged embellishments?

....This must be a Stand.] ...I guess...you're here for good huh...

[He feels like that must be the case, if he's all sheepy.] I didn't think you'd stay with me...I thought since you weren't here before...well...

[...There's something wet on the ground, but Weather Report hasn't made it rain. All he does is stoop down to put a hand-hoof on the other's shoulder. The skies are clear again, after all.]
