Weekend 5...?
Weather: Clear skies all weekend
On Saturday, there’s nothing new or unusual. It seems like the wish granting has been put on hold, and your efforts can continue to go towards progressing the island more. With the museum, Able Sisters, the entertainment area, the garden and more, the amount of development Isle Sonrisa has gone through is crystal clear when you compare it to your first week here.
All seems to be normal. That is, until you decide to fall asleep.
Whenever you begin to dream, your dreams are very vivid and reminiscent of the time you all dreamt about your homes. This time, however, you see your fellow islanders around you. Everyone may look confused, trying to figure out where they are. And that’s entirely fair, because where you are now is a little different from the island you’re used to.
That power you felt earlier in the week feels strong, too. It feels natural. And when you channel your energy…
Those of you who had powers originally will feel them start to manifest. Every ability you had is coming back. They seem a little...dampened, though, like they aren’t the full extent of what you could do before. Those who did not have abilities before will start to feel in tune with whatever’s on their person, whether it be a shovel, a bug net, even a stack of apples… You’ll be able to use them in ways you couldn’t have before.
And maybe you’ll learn how to use that new ability soon, because someone is waiting on top of one of the ledges, staring down at all of you. And he is staring very, very intensely at you. A moment passes, and then he hops down...and swings his net at the nearest person.
Strangely, if the target is you, it doesn’t hurt. You feel the boink land, but it doesn’t hurt at all. Should you choose to retaliate, no matter what you do, the boy does not seem to be in pain either. Now’s the time to experiment with your newfound (or returning) abilities. Mess around with the environment, or go ham on one another! The strangest thing is that you will feel your energy draining the more you use your powers -- which is to be expected -- but the pain never really settles in.
Furthermore, there are no injuries or blood. In fact, every punch, every kick, every impact looks cartoonish!
The last notable thing is for Joonghyuk. If he looks up at the sky at any given moment, he’ll specifically see a shooting star fly across the sky. The wish to have strength is going a little haywire, but it’s certainly something, isn’t it?
As for Sunday, well… It’s worth mentioning that those abilities aren’t just a dream after all. In fact, you feel as though you can use them in real life, too, with the same effect -- the environment can be altered (for instance: super strength means you might be able to lift a tree with your bare hands, with some work) but there are no injuries or pain when you use them on others! … But the strange boy from that dream is nowhere to be found. Huh. Wonder what that was about...

[ Since the examples that Joonghyuk listed are rather very famous mythological figures around the world--even Laurent can understand that much. He listens as Demon World's Spring narrates their tale, shifting his gaze from Dokja to Joonghyuk... and then to Dokja again. ]
The adopted son of Persephone and Hades...
[ That's... quite the family you have there, Dokja? He wonders if his Death friend would like Dokja by association. ]

A question comes up—do Persephone and Hades hate him as much as Lee Sookyung, Dokja's birth mother? ]
< Olympus > suffered from infighting unrelated to < Underworld >.

[ If Dokja looks affected by Laurent's words, he doesn't give any hints of it. Kim Dokja, the Demon King of Salvation, having become the adopted son of Persephone and Hades. The rulers and caretakers of the Underworld. ⸢"Father." Hades didn't reply. Maybe, that word was just as foreign to him as it was for me. ⸥
⸢"You are our son." ⸥ There's a distant look, only giving a single flick of a white black-tipped ear until he shows a smile. ] For the sake of reaching the end, you learn to make use of everything available to you. [ Especially infighting. ]

Oh...? Could it be that you're secretly Eris, tossing a golden apple in their midst?
[ Though it couldn't have happened exactly the same way, Laurent amuses himself with the imagery. ]

If only it were that easy. The universe's eyes were on him.
[ In the system's crosshairs. ]

[ His gaze twinkles at the mention of the universe and he hums out. ] I was both a savior and a threat in the universe's eyes. But it didn't need me for that, whether I was involved or not Olympus was bound to meet its end.
But there's more stories where that came from, though I don't think all of the fables are awake to share their story. They do like a good listener though if the time comes.

The end of Olympian Gods really didn't sound like a small feat either. Even if it were to have met its eventual destruction, there could be people who could slow or accelerate it. Laurent thinks that Dokja and Joonghyuk worked on the latter. These two surely are incredible... ]
Do you think you two will earn a new fable about staying on this island until you return? Or is that restricted to your home world?

You're asking a lot of questions.

It stays silent just as Joonghyuk responds, which leads to Dokja laughing lightly. ] Who can really say?
[ Sorry Laurent, you'll have to deal with a cryptic answer. Even though Dokja's gaze seems to linger on his companion. ]

[ Laurent laughs a little. ]
I can't help but to be curious, since your home world mechanics are so interesting.

[ ??????? That's the simple answer! ]

[ Seemed that way with him, anyways. ] That way Laurent you can see how our world runs yourself.

As long as it's a round trip, I'd be glad to visit as long as it doesn't put me in mortal danger.
[ Which, you know, apocalyptic settings tend to do. ]
no subject
You wouldn't be in mortal danger. Our world is at peace now.
[ All of their talk about battles and such led them to this conclusion... A peaceful one. ]

[ Which he says a little amusingly. Even so, a trip to other world-lines.. it would be an ideal trip for a vacation. ]
You'd be able to meet our company members.

I'd love to see them one day then. They sound interesting so far from what I've been told, and I'm sure there's more.
[ Laurent looks up. It's a clear day-- ]
Oh, right. I should get going. I'll see you two another time.
[ Someone forgot to cook the rice today--and he leaves. ]
