Weekend 5...?
Weather: Clear skies all weekend
On Saturday, there’s nothing new or unusual. It seems like the wish granting has been put on hold, and your efforts can continue to go towards progressing the island more. With the museum, Able Sisters, the entertainment area, the garden and more, the amount of development Isle Sonrisa has gone through is crystal clear when you compare it to your first week here.
All seems to be normal. That is, until you decide to fall asleep.
Whenever you begin to dream, your dreams are very vivid and reminiscent of the time you all dreamt about your homes. This time, however, you see your fellow islanders around you. Everyone may look confused, trying to figure out where they are. And that’s entirely fair, because where you are now is a little different from the island you’re used to.
That power you felt earlier in the week feels strong, too. It feels natural. And when you channel your energy…
Those of you who had powers originally will feel them start to manifest. Every ability you had is coming back. They seem a little...dampened, though, like they aren’t the full extent of what you could do before. Those who did not have abilities before will start to feel in tune with whatever’s on their person, whether it be a shovel, a bug net, even a stack of apples… You’ll be able to use them in ways you couldn’t have before.
And maybe you’ll learn how to use that new ability soon, because someone is waiting on top of one of the ledges, staring down at all of you. And he is staring very, very intensely at you. A moment passes, and then he hops down...and swings his net at the nearest person.
Strangely, if the target is you, it doesn’t hurt. You feel the boink land, but it doesn’t hurt at all. Should you choose to retaliate, no matter what you do, the boy does not seem to be in pain either. Now’s the time to experiment with your newfound (or returning) abilities. Mess around with the environment, or go ham on one another! The strangest thing is that you will feel your energy draining the more you use your powers -- which is to be expected -- but the pain never really settles in.
Furthermore, there are no injuries or blood. In fact, every punch, every kick, every impact looks cartoonish!
The last notable thing is for Joonghyuk. If he looks up at the sky at any given moment, he’ll specifically see a shooting star fly across the sky. The wish to have strength is going a little haywire, but it’s certainly something, isn’t it?
As for Sunday, well… It’s worth mentioning that those abilities aren’t just a dream after all. In fact, you feel as though you can use them in real life, too, with the same effect -- the environment can be altered (for instance: super strength means you might be able to lift a tree with your bare hands, with some work) but there are no injuries or pain when you use them on others! … But the strange boy from that dream is nowhere to be found. Huh. Wonder what that was about...

[ Joonghyuk keeps preening till the last stray feather. This wing is just as smooth now, so he runs his hand along it before giving it a light smack. ]
I see. Then it would be best if we don't overexert ourselves for no reason... Power returning can be as much of a bad omen as it is a good one.
[ Joonghyuk wonders if this means they're closer to their universe somehow, seeing that their powers are supported by the < Star Stream >. ]

[ The smack earns an offended whack from the wing, before he's turning to face his companion as he brings the pair to fan out. Stretching them out as though to inspect Joonghyuk's work. Looks good! He feels pleased. He feels a lot more relaxed than before. ⸢Kim Dokja almost wishes Yoo Joonghyuk didn't stop.⸥ Shut up, go back to sleep?! At this rate, Dokja will miss the silence in his head a lot sooner than he expected. ]
It's at the very least a good enough sign. [ That they're close. They may see about returning home just yet. However, he makes a good point. He'll hold off from using his powers too much. ] Well, given how everything has been here, we shouldn't really feel a need to use them anyways.

[ Tom Nook might have cut down Joonghyuk's claims that the raccoon is god of this realm, but! Until he sees Tom Nook is completely useless, he'll hold on. ]

[ One wing folds against his back, though the other extends out as the shush of feathers brushes over blades of grass until it hovers over them. Almost like a feathery umbrella. Even though it's not raining, he's just freely stretching and getting the feel of using his wings again. ]
Would make for an interesting ploy.

[ With their abilities, not that Joonghyuk can really figure out what's quite wrong. He's noticed he doesn't feel the same as usual despite harboring his fables and abilities... But what's important is that they have power.
Power that he isn't aware can't be used against other people. ]

[ Hands reach up to lightly take hold of the other's front, tugging the fabric a little as he brings him closer with a knowing smile. He's going to be jumping subjects here a little bit but it's useful information to know. Wings flutter a little against his back. ]
First, can I ask you something? [ That's not exactly right. ] Rather.. I want to ask you to say something. A while back, in the kitchen.. [ Of course he's referring to their confession. His tail raises highly with seeming excited tail swishes. ] ..Can I hear it once more?

[ Joonghyuk is taken aback by the suddenly ask, bewildered and somewhat placated in the confusion. His eyebrows stay knitted as he goes through their memories in the kitchen. Lots of cooking.

Why are you being clingy? [ If only he had his blade, he would pull it out on him right now. His ears pin back as his tail whips back and forth. ] I love you.

[ It's an actual inquiry. It doesn't need to be said. Hearing it once, should have been enough. But hearing it again... It hits him differently. Fingers twitch against the fabric and curl a little tighter.
His heart is racing despite having intentions on hearing it in the first place. As though he had been caught off guard even though he prepared for it. His gaze is mystified, just for a moment, until he blinks and uses it.

[‘Lie Detection’ has confirmed ‘Yoo Joonghyuk's’ words as truth.]
..Ah. It wasn't as if Dokja doubted him (maybe a little), and he most certainly trusts him (not so much himself) but.. well, if Joonghyuk didn't hate him before, he will definitely hate him now. Even so, he continues on. ] Since that works, we shouldn't have any issue using it with Tom Nook. He doesn't seem like a capable liar so we'll be able to find something if he's hiding anything.

[ Who fucking does that? Who does that? Joonghyuk is still offended based on his lashing tail. Now that Dokja has dropped his hold on him, Joonghyuk takes his role. A hand reaches out for his waist and pulls him a little closer. ]

A surprised sound escapes him at the sudden grab but he doesn't dislodge himself from the grip, only cursing at the sudden race of his heart. He keeps his gaze leveled with his partner.]

[ Maybe it is, but Dokja doesn't seem to react to it. He's use to Joonghyuk doing much worse than that. One hand raises to lightly rest against the other man's chest as his wings flutter briefly against his own back.
There's no need to be paranoid about that anymore. He really doesn't want to die. He can't exactly say 'sacrifice' since... well, it's what he's partly going to do back home. ] I meant what I said before. I don't intend to die, not anymore.

[ Joonghyuk doesn't exactly wrap an arm around him... He only keeps that hand on the back of Dokja's waist, but lessens his grip. It's merely placed there as support. The warmth of someone's touch.
Quietly and carefully, he rests his head on Dokja's shoulder. Despite his size, he seems to have become smaller with the demeanor of a cat. ]
If only you weren't stupid enough to die by accident.
