The Finale is Near

Days have passed since you first wound up with those strange mechanical bits in the mail. While all of you have found your respective partners, there’s still the question of “What do we do now?” in regards to the combined pieces. There are a few potential courses of action with the knowledge you have of how magic works here on the island, but the answer may or may not be what you’d expect.

Regardless, things seem to be coming close to wrapping up. For those of you who want it...maybe it’s finally time to return home. For those of you who want to stay, hopefully there's a way to do so. The only way to find the answers to these two things, however, is to start figuring things out.

[Serval was put in charge of her and Minato's V-shaped machine part, and so it is that she puts it right on the beach beside the airport and posts a network message.]

[So until anyone else arrives, she's just going to bring out her giant panda plush, snuggle in its lap with the smaller one in her arms, and start reading picture books on her NookPhone.]

Where are you?

[ Laurent would usually look all over the island, but time is more important this time around. ]

Airport

[Followed by a few poorly-taken selfies to help orient her location.]

[Miles arrives shortly after seeing the message, carrying the small half-screen that his and Zeke's parts had made.]

I have to admit, I'm a little bit nervous, [he says to Serval, a little bit conspiratorially. Though he's not sure he's nervous about if it won't work...or if it will.]

[That's been his guess too, honestly. Ren picks up his own part that he and Sylvando found, a V-shaped one as well, and heads out to find Serval.

Thankfully, it doesn't take long. And seeing her... Aw, she's adorable.]

Hey, Serval. I was thinking the same thing.

[He glances at her piece.]

Huh, looks like you got the same one as us.

[ That helps immensely, so instead of sending a reply, he makes his way to the airport, waving at Serval once he sees her. ]

Hey. Can I see your piece?

[Kevin has his Karl plush under one arm and the... propeller?? That he and Lio made somehow under the other.]

Look! We made a piece!

[ She'd been wondering what they should do with the pieces, and putting them all together sounds like the right idea. Kaede finds Serval on the beach, and waves at her as she walks up. ]

Hey! Here's the part Adelaide and I got.

[ She pulls it out of her pocket. It's also V-shaped. ]

[ he takes a look at ren's piece and raises an eyebrow. he doesn't have his on him -- laurent's in possession of it. ]

Two similar pieces?

[And there's Zeke -- IN THE AIR?! The Dread Bird of Alrest has apparently discovered how to fly!]

[Straight into a tree!]

[Ignore that please!]

[A moment later, Zeke hops out of the branches like he intended to do that all along.] No reason to be nervous. We're about to see a sight!

Yeah. Both V shapes. I'm thinking that since there's at least two of them, they might be corners to something?

[Thank you, Kevin, for carrying that stupid thing because Lio would have toppled over.]

I'm still not sure how, though. Did anyone else's pieces just magically click together and turn into something that makes no sense?
