The Finale is Near

Days have passed since you first wound up with those strange mechanical bits in the mail. While all of you have found your respective partners, there’s still the question of “What do we do now?” in regards to the combined pieces. There are a few potential courses of action with the knowledge you have of how magic works here on the island, but the answer may or may not be what you’d expect.

Regardless, things seem to be coming close to wrapping up. For those of you who want it...maybe it’s finally time to return home. For those of you who want to stay, hopefully there's a way to do so. The only way to find the answers to these two things, however, is to start figuring things out.

[That's been his guess too, honestly. Ren picks up his own part that he and Sylvando found, a V-shaped one as well, and heads out to find Serval.

Thankfully, it doesn't take long. And seeing her... Aw, she's adorable.]

[He glances at her piece.]

Huh, looks like you got the same one as us.

[ he takes a look at ren's piece and raises an eyebrow. he doesn't have his on him -- laurent's in possession of it. ]

Two similar pieces?

Yeah. Both V shapes. I'm thinking that since there's at least two of them, they might be corners to something?

[toushiro]

Hm. If the two of you got these pieces then there may be others who have, also.

[jokersonyou]

Alright, so those ones are not doing anything being put together except sparkling a little. But maybe... Can I try seeing if anything happens if I attach my piece to your wing?

Why not? You'll have to ask Laurent, though; he's the one who has the wing right now.

Oh, we got that one too!

[ Hmmm... ]

Looks like they're all corner pieces. I wonder if there's one more.

If there is, they might make a square. Either that, or whatever we're supposed to be making has something we attach them to to form triangles, maybe?

Maybe... I've never build anything like this before, and these parts are kind of big.

[She lays out her and Minato's corner piece to match the others.]

[Ren lays out his and Sylvando's corner piece against that, edges touching.]

Hm.

[ The edges of the v-shapes touching...will not give you any result, sadly. There's a little bit of stardust-like particles that burst from the pieces when they touch, but it doesn't look like this is the answer. ]

Well, if this is supposed to be a plane, wouldn't this be more like...Wing supports?

[With that suggestion, he goes to Laurent. No dice, though, and even less of a reaction. So he returns.]

Nothing with the wing. Not even those stardust things like this, which means...these V-shapes must go together somehow.

[....very slowly lifts forging hammer with a questioning look]

Hang on.

[ hitsugaya calls out in the distance; he's near sonico and alexis, but he makes his way over to the others with another v-shaped piece in his hands. ]

We've got a fourth one of these.

Should we try putting them together again?

[toushiro]

Depends if anyone else has a piece like this. Since there're four, who's to say there aren't more?

That's true! We need to keep an eye out for any others.

[jokersonyou]

Let's put them all together. I have another theory now.

[He leaves his V-shaped piece on the ground, then scurries back off to his house. Eventually, he returns with a star fragment.]

I want to see if this is a catalyst for combining them.

Oh, good idea!

[ She brings her piece over. ]

[And he pushes those pieces together, tip to tip.]

Let's try making a square with the other two.

Okay! [She puts down her piece again.]

[ A square? Well, this might be a problem since he has a corner, too. Making it five...

Joonghyuk passes his piece now. ]

We'll need to think of a different shape.
