The Finale is Near

Days have passed since you first wound up with those strange mechanical bits in the mail. While all of you have found your respective partners, there’s still the question of “What do we do now?” in regards to the combined pieces. There are a few potential courses of action with the knowledge you have of how magic works here on the island, but the answer may or may not be what you’d expect.

Regardless, things seem to be coming close to wrapping up. For those of you who want it...maybe it’s finally time to return home. For those of you who want to stay, hopefully there's a way to do so. The only way to find the answers to these two things, however, is to start figuring things out.

Well, let's give this a shot. Here we go.

[Aaaaaaaaaand... He proceeds to tap it with his star fragment.]

[ ...The pieces finally, finally connect and cement into a star-shaped piece! It's got a bit of depth to it, so it looks like a tank with a star-shaped opening. It's rather heavy, so careful carrying it! ]

[Sylvando gasps in awe as the pieces connect themselves.]

Would you look at that! A fabulous little star!

[It's actually a fabulous big star, really.]

Amazing! Maybe we can put everything else on it from there!

Hmmm... You know, planes aren't my area of expertise. What kind of plane part would something like this make?

[Lio squints at the star shape.]

...either a star-shaped plane or...maybe a spaceship?

[He thinks about that for a moment, audibly humming as he looks from the star-shaped tank and back to the group.]

It's so small for a plane, though. I don't think we want to build a plane for...I don't know, little critters.

Physics doesn't work like it should here, so I don't think size matters.

Lio-darling, I assure you clown wagons are still cramped even if you can fit in one. That's what this would be like.

[This conversation is going places.]

...how do you know that.

Well if you're expecting us to get in a tiny plane, what else would it be like? I guess it could be a toy, but...that'd be a strange wild goose chase to put us on for a toy.

No, how do you know what it's like in a clown car?

[He's a clown?! Lio thought you were just an actor!!]

[He innocently bats his eyelashes.]

Is it that surprising? I've been part of the circus for years! I do whatever my acts need of me, including clown duties!

For some reason, I never thought you were part of the circus. I thought all actors were just...boisterous like that.

I dunno! Maybe this is where that thingy goes.

[She points at the propeller.]
