The Finale is Near

Days have passed since you first wound up with those strange mechanical bits in the mail. While all of you have found your respective partners, there’s still the question of “What do we do now?” in regards to the combined pieces. There are a few potential courses of action with the knowledge you have of how magic works here on the island, but the answer may or may not be what you’d expect.

Regardless, things seem to be coming close to wrapping up. For those of you who want it...maybe it’s finally time to return home. For those of you who want to stay, hopefully there's a way to do so. The only way to find the answers to these two things, however, is to start figuring things out.

Yeah, but usually you need to be an engineer or something for that. Not...have it pop out of scraps of metal.

But we build all kinds of stuff out of things that shouldn't work! Like this is made out of apples and a couple pieces of iron.

[Serval reaches into her inventory and pulls out... uh. Did she build a TV?]

Right. But either way, how do we put all the pieces together?

With a DIY bench, I guess?

I sure hope someone here is familiar with making planes if it is. If it was boat parts I'd be a lot more useful.

[He's still getting used to the Dodo plane's existence as it is.]

I don't think any of us are engineers. And I'd imagine there's a lot more to building planes than just shoving some parts together. Then again, who knows with this world?

That's a good point! Making things in this world has always been a little...magical? [It's definitely streamlined, that's for sure.] Maybe it's just a matter of figuring out the general shape?

It could be. And I just realized, and so did Serval--the DIY bench... Maybe we're supposed to use that?

It's worth a shot if you ask me! But...the parts are kind of big for any of our workbenches, don't you think?

It looks like it tried to do something there! I wonder if the right shapes will connect on their own.

That might be the case. Let me go see if it works with the airplane wing. Adelaide suggested they could be maybe used for support.
