Final Log
Weather: Clear Skies
- The Finale is Near
Days have passed since you first wound up with those strange mechanical bits in the mail. While all of you have found your respective partners, there’s still the question of “What do we do now?” in regards to the combined pieces. There are a few potential courses of action with the knowledge you have of how magic works here on the island, but the answer may or may not be what you’d expect.
Regardless, things seem to be coming close to wrapping up. For those of you who want it...maybe it’s finally time to return home. For those of you who want to stay, hopefully there's a way to do so. The only way to find the answers to these two things, however, is to start figuring things out.

Thanks for coming to see me, you two. I'll miss seeing you guys around almost every day. I'll look back on the peace and fun times we had on the island (read: mostly Laurent who had fun) and probably cry about it when I'm alone.

There's no need to cry. After all, there's still the plan of us coming to get you, right? It will take some time. [ That is almost guaranteed. Dokja isn't sure how much time will pass for himself.. he just has to have faith in his companions. ]

I planned a lot out in my head for the past several days. I won't be able to wait for too long, so I hope you guys come as soon as you can.
[ Also, Laurent has been writing more Vella stories... I'm gonna say that's also included with the bundle of papers that Kai brings to Pokespe so the two can read those too. ]

[ A look shadows over him, knowing it's not a promise. An official promise he cannot make. There's a lot at stake and that he knows. His tail slowly sways behind him, taking a glance at Joonghyuk. ]

[ Which isn't a lie? If it ends up taking them a hundred years, it's not like Laurent can blame them. However, Joonghyuk doesn't seem pressed about the details. Their group has defied many things in their universe... Why not again?
When Dokja looks at him, he squints back before looking back to Laurent. ]
Don't speak for me. [ Stupid. ] What are you plans when you head home?

[ Laurent knows it can't be a promise. That's why he's made plans upon plans while at home, but in deference to what Joonghyuk had told him, he can't give up on hope before it even begins. ]
If it dumps me in the same place I was in before, the first thing I'll have to do is break free of the dimensional jail. I've thought of possibilities for many different types of scenarios. I'll just have to work hard and hope for the best if my luck comes through for me.

A light hum sounds, hands pushing into the pockets of his white coat and freezes at touch of something square. He promptly ignores it as he pulls that hand out to gesture while he talks. ] I imagine it may be its own sort of pocket, so would time work there differently?
[ If so, it could either buy them more or less time to rescue. His focus on the way time works differently depending on the plane is an important aspect to focus on. It is also a reminder of the eventual time he's likely to spend back home, waiting. Watching over everything. ]

Well, worth to ask. [ Even if it runs normal time for Laurent, hopefully any time differences they have in their own universe doesn't exceed too much. It causes for worry but Dokja continues smiling and seeming unbothered.
He has to. Dokja has a role to be and outside that there isn't much else he can do. His tail sways highly now as he continues on. ] I almost expected for everyone to throw one final party before being sent off but looks like we won't have that much time.

[ Joonghyuk remembers the faces, but there a plenty of people that share similar physical features. With the limited time they have, he would at least like that info before they depart. ]
A party doesn't need to be grand.
[ Joonghyuk's own tail sways a bit. Despite being a man of few words, he seems to understand that words can be enough for people. ]

The little girl's "Cut", Cerise Arsellec. The doctor guy is "Circle", Calixte Clemente. The man with black and white hair is "Opportunity", Kai.
[ Laurent thinks a bit. Healing was restricted, but Healing didn't show up in his dream. What's up with that... but he figures that's enough for them to know. ]
Their powers are annoying to deal with in a frontal confrontation, and they'll often get you in places you don't expect.

[ Even so, not everyone is leaving, right? Seeing those that are off and all.
Let's see- Cut, Circle and Opportunity. The End and Death. Dokja hums a little, glancing over to Joonghyuk as he replies. ]
Annoying is manageable. And we have had some experience in being in.. well, not ideal places. [ The Ark brings up a few memories for one. ] I've been known to be pretty annoying as well.
